Levantine Cuisine

The Levantine cuisine features a range of dishes made from beans and lentils. These legumes used include fava beans, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), brown beans, lupini beans, runner beans, brown lentils, green lentils, and red lentils. Common dishes made from these include lentil salad, lentil soup, falafels, ful medames and mujaddara.
